ALMA MATTERS
Alma Matters se trata de un proyecto fotográfico desarrollado desde la pre-pandemia entre Lisboa, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro y Euskadi, que trata del tiempo como el verdadero artífice collagista. Como una mano invisible que impregna de su esencia la materia, como un elemento interventor de trazos y recursos pictóricos quasi-rothkianos, que nos descubre un mundo de composiciones fractales plasmadas en los muros que nos rodean.
Alma Matters is a photographic project developed since the pre-pandemic between Lisbon, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Euskadi, which deals with time as the true collagist architect. Like an invisible hand that impregnates the matter with its essence, like an intervening element of quasi-Rothkian strokes and pictorial resources, which reveals to us a world of fractal compositions captured in the walls that surround us.

BIHOTZ BIHOTZETIK
El título rinde homenaje al trabajo póstumo que Txopitea realizó en 1997, un libro de entrevistas a personajes relacionados con la cultura vinculados a Zarautz. 25 años más tarde retomo esas conversaciones para hacer una re-lectura en esta muestra, en un Castillo Medieval del Siglo XV, que evidencia el corazón que Daniel Txopitea ponía en todo lo que se empleaba.
The title pays homage to the posthumous work that Txopitea carried out in 1997, a book of interviews with people related to the culture linked to Zarautz. 25 years later I take up those conversations to do a re-reading for this exhibition, located in a XV Century Castle, that evidences the heart that Daniel Txopitea put in everything he did.

Re_encuentro es una exposición retrospectiva entre padre e hija. Dos universos cercanos que dejaron de estar unidos por la rápida desaparición de mi padre cuando aún era joven, y que nos vuelve a reunir en un mismo espacio con la fusión del trabajo de ambos.
Re_encuentro is a retrospective exhibition between father and daughter. Two nearby universes that ceased to be united by the rapid disappearance of my father when I was still young, and that brings us together again in the same space with the fusion of the work of both.
